Volunteers.Clinical Research Advantage is always seeking new volunteers to help us advance modern medicine. By participating in a clinical trial you play an active role in the development of drugs, devices and biologics that may lead to new disease treatments, preventions, as well as improve health and the quality of life for all. Clinical Research Advantage has provided research services to the pharmaceutical industry since 1992, and has conducted over 1600 research studies. Our highly trained staff and board certified physicians conduct studies safely in the strict, scientifically controlled settings that are required by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Trials may be designed to assess the safety and effectiveness of an experimental therapy, to assess whether the new intervention is better than standard therapy, or to compare the efficacy of two treatments that are already FDA approved. Participants in clinical trials gain access to new research treatments before they are widely available, have access to more personalized care, and may receive study medication at no cost. The clinical trial team includes doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals. They check the health of the participant at the beginning of the trial, give specific instructions for participating in the trial, monitor the participant carefully during the trial and follow-up as needed after the trial is complete. To ensure patient safety, some clinical trials involve more tests and doctor visits that the participant would normally have for an illness or condition. In addition, study participants may receive compensation for time and travel. We thank you for your interest in clinical research, and we look forward to working with you in the development of new drug therapies, medical devices and vaccines. Sincerely,
The doctors, nurses, and research staff |
